Indian Rupee Gets it new Face

Here after all indian currency will be denoted with following (New) symbol...!

     This symbol is a mix of the Devanagiri 'Ra' and Roman 'R'. Now Indian Rupee joins the Dollar($), Pound Sterling(£), Euro(€) and Yen(¥). It is fifth currency in the world to have a distinct identity. New symbol will differentiate the Indian Rupee from the rupee of Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan, and the Rupiah of Indonesia.

The symbol is to be adopted within six months in India and 24 months in the world.

However, one thing that perplexing me was that the Indian currency which was chosen was not in the original list of shortlisted rupee symbols.

How to Type :

A question in everyone's mind is how and when do we are going to type the new symbol?

While the Government of India can mandate hardware manufacturers to include the symbol in keyboards, it may also be accessed by following option.

 -  using U+0930 (i.e. Devnagari Letter, RA)

     This is a collection of leave letters and applications written by people in various places of the world ...

1. Infosys :
  
     "Since I have to go to my village to sell my land along with my wife, please sanction me one-week leave."

2. Oracle :
  
     From an employe who was performing the "mundan" ceremony of his 10 year old son:

     "as I want to shave my son's head, please leave me for two days."

3. Another gem from CDAC :
  
     Leave-letter from an employee who was performing his daughter's wedding:

     "as I am marrying my daughter, please grant a week's leave."

4. From H.A.L. Administration dept :
